We have two in-house GIA graduate gemologists at Baker's Jewelry. Using specialized gemological instruments we can accurately determine the chemical and physical properties needed to identify each stone. Each report is $50 and consists of precise measurements and the results of various testing needed for identification. If stones are of considerable size or if we think there is a possibility they have significant worth we may recommend that they be sent to the Gemological Institute of America (G.I.A.) for a further lab report.
